Shannon's list of threes

Okay, I know there has not been a post on here in quite a while, so this is an easy one to get on here quickly for you all to read while I’m compiling the posts I have been wanting to put on here for forever. I promise they are coming (and they are all very exciting), but hopefully this will tide everyone over! Thanks for the tag, Shell.

Three Things I Love:
1. Getting home before Sam and seeing how excited he is that I’m already there
2. Putting on laundry fresh from the dryer, or even better, snuggling on a big pile of it! It makes me smile just thinking about it.
3. Feeling skinny

Three Things I Hate:
1. poor customer service – right on Shelley – probably my biggest pet peeve ever
2. violence, yelling, and contention
3. the fact that Arizona drivers licenses don’t expire for like 80 years, so there are a million and one 200 year old drivers driving the wrong way on the freeway going .4 miles an hour with their right blinker on even though there’s nowhere to turn for the next 2,300 yards (my skin is crawling just typing this….)

Three People Who Make Me Laugh:
1. Samby
2. Michael, my brother-in-law
3. Norm McDonald (especially as a green bean)

Three Things that Scare Me:
1. being alone is for sure my number one
2. water and things lurking in it
3. being kidnapped and tortured

Three Things I Don't Understand:
1. How Sam and I have eaten the exact same food since we’ve been together and he’s gained 50 pounds and I have lost 10
2. Why ignorant people seem to always get jobs in customer service
3. Why men think that whistling at you or yelling vulgar things will capture your heart

Three Things On My Desk:
1. A cup of ice water that I refill every 20 minutes
2. My cell phone
3. A fresh pack of Orbit bubblemint gum…the best flavor on earth

Three Things I Plan To Do Today (or Did Today):
1. pee
2. take a nap
3. post this on my blog

Three Things I Want To Do Before I Die:
1. Visit most of Africa
2. Find the lost city of Atlantis
3. Take down at least one psycho with my crazy kung fu skills

Three Things I Can Do:
1. irritate the crap out of Sam
2. creative things like cooking, decorating, singing and dancing
3. kick serious butt!

Three Things I Can't Do:
1. play most sports, no matter how hard I try
2. watch war movies
3. run for long periods of time

Three Things I Miss:
1. Going to school
2. Utah
3. buying shoes

Three Things I'd Like to Learn:
1. how to play the guitar well
2. the scriptures so well I could think of any scripture I wanted and be able to quote it and tell you which book, chapter, and verse
3. to be a tepanyaki chef (sorry Chuck)

Three Things I Regret:
1. Having so many regrets
2. Not taking advantage of my opportunity at BYU more than I did
3. many many things with Alesha (you know what they are hon…I’m so sorry and I LOVE YOU!!)

Three Favorite Foods:
1. Sushi – especially with salmon
2. Thick, bloody, juicy steaks…especially marinated in my special secret recipe
3. Café Rio for sure: pork salad with extra meat and extra dressing, pork enchiladas with mild sauce and guacamole, pork nachos, and steak burrito extra meat enchilada style with mild salsa. I think I’ll go get some for lunch now that there’s a Rio in my hood. Sorry sista’!

Three Favorite TV Shows as a Kid:
1. The Smurfs
2. Eureka’s Castle
3. Ghostwriter

Three People I Tag(and these people can either do this on their own blogs, or comment on this one!)
1. Alesha
2. Sam
3. Joe and Krista

Wow. I like it. So many things I never knew about you. It's like I am seeing you for the first time. We'll never fight again!!! Very clever dear. Your brilliant humor always reminds me why I married you!

HI-larious! And I saw that you posted on my blog to Kelly that you want to be her best friend for the pork recipe. NEVER! I'm going to learn the secret and never reveal it to you!!! Just kidding, I'll make sure you get the recipe. And just one more thing... "I Want the Rio!!"

For all those who don't know, Heather and Annalisa are my sisters in law. They are very funny. Annalisa is a crazy Italien who is just getting acquainted with our American cultures so forgive her. They don't have blogs like this in Little Italy. :) Thanks for hitting my bog Sissy and Heddy! I love it and hope you do it again soon!
