It's about time!

Hello to all who still visit my sad excuse for a blog. I'm sure there are not many of you left, but for those of you who keep hanging in there...thanks! I figure it's about time to get on here and put another post up. I know it's been 3 months. Pathetic. You know what else is pathetic? I haven't posted about the most important news the Arizona-now-Utah-Banks family has had in a year! We are pregnant! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (just for you, Hed)!

That's right. We are pregnant - with another boy! Little Trevor Benjamin. He is precious as can be and is as much a mover as his big brother was. Sam and I already love him so much I can't even believe it. And little Sammy David loves him too. He is enamoured with my growing belly and is constantly pulling my shirt up to poke it, lay on it, and give it kisses. He is very sweet and affectionate with his little baby brother, and I'm sure he knows there's a baby in there. I think his little spirit senses it.

So, to those not in the loop, here's everything you missed:

We are 6 months preggo - due July 15th. The most commonly asked question: have I been as sick with this one as with David? The answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT! WOOT WOO!!!!!!! I was mildly nauseous. Hardly noticeable. In fact, so hardly noticeable that we didn't even know we were pregnant until we were 4 months. We took a test and went to the doctor, sure we were only 4-6 weeks...maybe! Since I had been nursing there was no *****TMI ALERT******"missing friend" to gage our progress by. So we thought it was super early in the pregnancy and the, to coin a phrase from the funniest lady I know: TAMN, "down-there-doc", told us to just come in and they'd do an ultrasound to see how far along we were and go from there. So we go in expecting to see a little grey bean in my belly. We were shocked to see a baby with little limbs and facial features. Even more shocked when the tech said "not only can I tell you how far along you are, I can tell you what you're having!" WOW! We were in such shock I don't think it sunk in for several weeks.

So the boys will be 19 months apart - perfect! I hope they'll be cute little friends. I still can't believe we were pregnant when David was only 9 months old, but now that he's 15 months it doesn't seem so crazy. And for those trying to do the math, yes we were apparently pregnant when we moved to St. George. Who knew?

David has been really sweet and affectionate lately. I really do think he understands more than I give him credit for. He came with us to our first doctor's appointment and that night he went and got a little stuffed baby that he's had since before birth that he'd never even LOOKED at, and he toted it all around the house. He would carry it and snuggle it and kiss it all over the face. Now don't tell me he didn't pick up on what was going on! Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I'd like to think his little baby spirit knows there's another little one coming.

Trevor is finally big enough that Sam can feel him if he puts his hand on my tummy. Sometimes you can even see him moving around which is always fun. He wakes up at exactly the same time every night - 10:30. I really love the constancy. When Sam and I are up watching a movie or something, I'll just say "I think it's 10:30"! And sure enough, it is...within about 10 minutes. So cute. Maybe he'll be easier to set a routine with than David was! Here's hoping!!

Anyway, I think that's all the information I wanted to share. I've been waiting to post until after I had scanned my ultrasound pics so you could all see him. But I'll just do that in a later post. Until then, thanks for reading!

Wow!!!!! Shannon that is so exciting. That is such a crazy story, but a great one! I think a surprise pregnancy would be so fun, especially if it meant not finding out until the second trimester!! Congratulations and Good luck!!

p.s. Hayden is terrified of people knocking on the door too! :)

Shannon you are crazy. We aren't coming down this weekend, we we're going to, but we can't handle anymore traveling. How was North Carolina(come on an raise up)? That would be really cool to have you guys there, but I guess I understand if you can't come.

I just cant get over the fact that you didnt know you were pregnant for so long. That's just insane. I bet it has made your pregnancy go by WAY faster.
So what is Sam doing for work? I'm glad you guys like where you're living. It sounds like things are going well for you guys.

Man, that's ROUGH. Three states in one day. Twice. Do you at least like living in St George?

So, I got on your blog the other day, because mine said you had a new post. But you didn't. Are you playing mind games with me? Getting me really excited and then crushing my hopes?

Then I got on your blog yesterday so Jadyn and I could have some good music to dance to. It made me think of you the whole time. It made me really miss you. We should talk soon! I keep trying you on skype, but you never answer...

Love ya, Girl! Hope you are doing well!!
